On Saturday Dec 23rd representatives from Over the Hill Cycling Club presented Cork Penny Dinners with the proceeds (now 3000 Euro) from the recent fund-raising Spinathon. Club members were shown first hand the facilities that are used and were deeply struck by the work performed by the Cork Penny Dinners volunteers.
HI, An update on the fundraising associated with the “Spinathon” held in Ross’s Centra Watergrasshill on Sat Dec 16th last. The inaugural Over The Hill spinathon took place last Saturday 16th December at Ross's Centra Watergrasshill. The event kicked off at 8.00am with Joanne McHugh and Conor Mac Aree first up on the turbo trainers. Members pedaled for one hour at a time.
