Training:

Departing from Mescal's in Watergrasshill Village and generally travelling around the greater environs of North and East Cork.

The circuits are rolling for the most part, with the odd stiff climb here or there but nothing that can't be taken care of with a couple of minutes break in the chat before the road flattens again. Weekday and weekend rides generally take place within this perimeter
  • Summer Schedule:
    • Wednesday 19:00
    • Saturday 08:00
    • Sunday 08:00
  • Winter Schedule:
    • Saturday 08:30
    • Sunday 08:30
What do I need on a training ride...?
  1. Hard shell helmet (essential...!)
  2. Rain cape or jacket
  3. Two spare tubes
  4. Pump
  5. Tyre irons
  6. Water bottle
  7. Some food, banana, chocolate bar or energy bars etc...
  8. €10 or €20 for the coffee stop or lunch break
  9. A quick read of the club etiquette
  10. A road racing bike, preferrably with 700 x 23 tyres, drop bars and in a good state of repair
  11. Front and rear lights are recommended for low light and winter conditions riding
