Over The Hill Cycling Club will run an all day spinathon on Saturday Dec 16th at Ross's Centra Watergrasshill from 08:00 to 22:00. All proceeds will go to local charity, Cork Penny Dinners who are based in Little Hanover Street. Cork Penny Dinners was founded during Famine times as a soup kitchen. Sunday Cycle Dec 10th is cancelled due to the forecast for icy conditions. Next Saturday Dec 16th sees the club involved with the Lee Roadies in the morning for a joint Christmas cycle and an all day “Spinathon” in Centra WGH to raise funds for Cork Penny Dinners
The Saturday Cycle for Dec 9th is cancelled due to the forecast for icy road conditions. Members can organise a cycle via the Club WhatsApp group for later in the day if road conditions are acceptable.
